Renfrew Golf Club hosted another hugely successful Celtic FC Foundation Golf Day in 2019, with an incredible total in the region of £25,000 raised in support of our Ability Counts projects.

Our fifth annual Golf Day was sponsored by Frux Private Bank who very generously donated a wonderful prize for the winning team – the opportunity to take part in the Frux Golf World Tour Final.

Once again, it was a sell-out event, with 23 teams taking part. Among them as always, was a team of former Celts, as Simon Donnelly, Willie McStay and Owen Archdeacon took to the course, aiming to win the coveted Golf Day trophy. They were also joined by Tom Boyd, John Fallon and Frank McAvennie, who all took part, among other Golf Day teams.
